In His Image Family Medicine Residency Overview

This training program is for committed physicians seeking solid family medicine training along with a Christian global perspective. The result: doctors well prepared to practice excellent medicine and minister to their patients in a wide variety of settings – especially among the medically underserved.

Our residents are challenged to experience the breadth of opportunities available around the U.S. and the world as they seek the personal call of God in their lives. IHI strives to produce physicians who demonstrate Christ-like leadership skills, whether in a clinical setting, serving in a church, or working internationally.

Our faculty are committed to training our residents and  cultivating the integration of our faith in Jesus Christ with the practice of family medicine. The goal: our graduates will become physicians in His image.

Our program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education.  Our strong academic curriculum includes training in a wide variety of settings, from large tertiary-level hospitals to small rural clinics. We emphasize obstetrics, informatics, procedural skills and international health.
