God's love knows no boundaries, and neither do the "classrooms" of In His
Image. Numerous times each year IHI sends teams of doctors, residents and nurses throughout Asia and Africa to hold week-long healthcare conferences and consultations. Medical education, along with spiritual emphasis impacts medical students, nursing students, faculty, practicing physicians and national health officials. These individuals, unfettered by language and culture barriers, are able to share what they learn with many others. Medical lectures, hands-on workshops, and informal social meetings are some of the creative ways IHI reaches healthcare professionals in these countries. The week long conference culminates with a seminar on ethics, family issues and entering into a personal relationship with Christ. A key outcome is self-sustaining Christian medical fellowships led by those who came to Christ during a previous IHI conference. As overseas requests increase, so does the need for more people to give, pray and go.
